We are currently seeking a highly skilled HVAC Estimation Engineer.
You’ll be tasked to carry out preliminary engineering & estimation for the HVAC works in Living Quarters and Machinery spaces for Refurbishment, Upgrades & New building on board Vessels, Rigs & Platforms.
Job Objective:
- To ensure that the quality of service and tasks responsible for and undertaken are in accordance with Industry Legislative Requirements and Company Policy, Procedure and adopted Standards.
- To participate in the overall delivery and implementation of the Company objectives in high accuracy, compliance with applicable standards and higher satisfaction.
- All Operational procedures shall be in line with Company standards and individual project requirements.
- Effective safety measures must take into account from the MODUTEC specific structures and processes related safety measures.
- Able to think critically are able to solve problems effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing good working relationships with all managers and supervisors to ensure that information is readily available so that all enquiries and tenders can be responded to efficiently.
- Acting as a liaison between the company and client for the purpose of clarification of tenders/enquiries.
- The receipt, distribution and disposition of all enquiries and invitations to tender received by MODUTEC including:
a) Estimating the cost of all received enquiries /tenders received using established Excel spreadsheet models.
b) Site surveys - Any other duty which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of Modutec and is within the remit of this post and / or Job Holders capabilities
- Apply Modutec QHSE Procedures in their daily activities and report any non-conformances or suggested improvements to Line Manager, Senior Management, and/or the QHSE Department.
- Ensure full awareness of all aspects and procedures within the Internal Management System and subsequent updates
- Fully support all aspects of the Modutec Company Values at all times

Requirements:
- A Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent estimating experience within Mechanical/HVAC Engineering or fabrication is preferred
- Experience of using and manipulating computer based estimating models
- Experience in compiling and presenting tender responses.
- Fluent in English language is mandatory
- Must have a transferable visa (NOC Letter)
